We do not disclose any personally identifiable or confidential information about you or your company without your express permission or a court order.
What we collect
- Name and surname
- Business name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Physical address
- Postal Address
- VAT number
- Company registration number
- Personal ID number (only if required for a debit order)
The contact information collected is used to contact you with quotations, invoices and important information about the products you use. The information provided is also reflected on quotations and invoices, and used when registering debit orders.
Data
Any data that we have access to when working on your device will remain confidential, and will not be stored, shared or accessed without your express permission or a court order.
In the event that we have to make a backup of your data, for example during a hard drive replacement or Windows reinstall, you will be informed in advance. The data backed up will be stored on a local file server in our office, and will be deleted from that server 30 days after service delivery. The 30 day waiting period is to give you a windows of time in which to make sure all your files are present and working after service.
Recuring Backup
Data backed up using our backup service (cloud-to-cloud or device backup) is stored in a data centre in Johannesburg and will not be shared without your express permission or a court order.
Email data hosted with us is routed and stored through servers located in Johannesburg and Cape Town. It is not shared without your express permission or a court order. Your passwords are not stored, and will not be reset unless you request it yourself. In the event of death, passwords can be reset and provided to the relevant parties in the business or family when relevant.
